The Deanship of Student Affairs takes a comprehensive approach to supporting first-year students. Upon their arrival at Mutah University, students participate in a well-coordinated orientation program overseen by a committee appointed by the Deanship of Student Affairs. This committee consists of senior chemical engineering students and staff members from the Deanship of Student Affairs. The orientation program encompasses various activities, including guided campus tours, introductions to academic and administrative departments, and meetings with the department head to acquaint students with chemical engineering foundational requirements. These meetings cover the curriculum, study plan, future prospects such as job opportunities, and their national and regional relevance.

To ensure students have access to necessary information throughout their time at Mutah University, the Deanship of Student Affairs publishes an annual Student Guide.

Upon enrolling in their first semester, department students receive a personalized study plan that outlines the recommended courses for each subsequent semester until graduation. A model study plan serves as a helpful reference. Students are also informed about prerequisite courses to avoid any registration issues in the future.

All students are made aware of any important information, dates and deadlines via the electronic system, information and notice boards.

The head of the chemical engineering department assists students in understanding and meeting the requirements of their chosen academic program. Faculty members of the chemical engineering department provide information on the required courses, credit hours, prerequisites, and any additional program-specific guidelines. Students can consult with department head to ensure they are on track with their program's curriculum. Students can seek assistance from the department head to plan their course schedules and resolve any registration-related issues.

By leveraging the expertise and resources of the Admission and Registration Unit at Mutah University, students can receive essential academic advising and support throughout their university journey. The Admission and Registration Unit can also guide students through the course registration process. They can provide information on the registration timeline, course availability, and any restrictions or prerequisites for specific courses. The unit can help students monitor their academic progress by providing access to academic records, such as transcripts and degree audits. Students can review their completed coursework, credit hours earned, and remaining requirements with the assistance of the unit. This enables them to stay informed about their academic standing and make informed decisions regarding their course selections.
