The Faculty of Engineering at Mutah University has earned
international accreditation (ABET) for its undergraduate programs in both
Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The Dean of the Faculty, Prof.
Jamal Bani Salameh, stated that this prestigious accreditation reflects the
high quality of the engineering programs at the university, as well as the
continuous and dedicated efforts of the faculty’s staff over many years of hard
work to elevate the faculty and meet quality standards. This achievement
positively impacts the quality of the graduates and enhances the academic
reputation of the university and its various faculties.
In his remarks, the University
President, Prof. Salameh Al-Nuaimat, congratulated the Faculty of Engineering,
its faculty members, and students on this major academic accomplishment. He
emphasized that this achievement is proof of the quality of academic programs
at the university in general and the Faculty of Engineering in particular. He
also highlighted the university’s commitment to advancing excellence across all
its programs, which will further enhance its academic and research reputation,
and contribute to its progress in global rankings, where the university has
seen significant improvement in recent years.
