​Dr. Lara Shawawreh, the head of the Architecture Department, was honored twice during the proceedings of the Seventh International Jordanian Architectural Conference. Minister of Public Works, Engineer Maher Abu Al-Samen, and the representative of the patron of the conference, Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, honored Dr. Lara Shawawreh for her contributions as a member of the conference's preparatory committee. The conference took place over two days at the Landmark Hotel in Amman under the theme "Architecture and Artificial Intelligence." Dr. Shawawreh was also honored for chairing one of its sessions on "Smart Construction and Smart Cities."
