The current Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) present the obligation of the department to deliver a comprehensive and complete program that prepares students to:

1. Apply the economic and environmental needs in their design, construction and maintenance works in order to improve civil engineering practices.

2. Successfully use their engineering knowledge and problem solving skills to develop the civil engineering sector.

3. Proceed with their scientific, research and practical development through graduate education and professional development courses.​
